Truma Water Heater Drain Plug w/ O-ring
This plug is a Master Tech Exclusive. Truma recommends the draining of the storage tank if the heater is not used within 30 days. This storage drain plug allows the tank to vent to the ambient air but prevents bugs from entering the mixing vessel along with if the pump would accidently be turned on the tank will automatically drain. The original use plug does not allow the tank to vent and can hold back water should the pump be accidently cycled and then becoming stagnant and or freezing and breaking the tank flange.
